JUNE 8,2019

3300 STOCKTON BLVD

(IN THE FIELD BEHIND THE SCHOOL)

Join us Saturday, June 8, 2019 as we celebrate Black culture, unity, natural hair, music, Black business, Black economics, Black education and Black people. We are celebrating US. We are tired of seeing the lack of proper representation in business, economics, politics, and health. So we have decided to do something about it. We will show positive images of our people. We will expose our people to businesses, Black professionals, healthcare, and Black real estate investors. We will have conversations about investment, urban farming, and more.

It's TIME for us to RISE!! It's TIME for us to SEIZE THE TIME!!

This event is also a celebration of the 19th Anniversary of the Mahogany Urban Poetry Series. Mahogany has been a place for activism for 20 years and counting. Every Wednesday night, poets, comedians, and entertainers grace the stage to tell their stories.

There will be live performances, guest speakers, vendors, and activities for all ages.

This event is FREE to the public! People of all nationalities are welcomed!

We are advertising this event via social media, flyers, KDEE 97.5 FM, media connections, word of mouth, and Fortune School. We reasonably expect a large crowd
